WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A lane of US 421 near North 3rd Street will close Thursday night as crews prepare for the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge project.
NCDOT will remove a concrete island to create a new traffic pattern for bridge work.
Both eastbound lanes into Wilmington will be closed starting on January 28th and will not reopen until the end of March.
